Niklas Myhr, Assistant Professor of Marketing and Director Executive Education, teaches and conducts research at the Argyros School of Business and Economics at Chapman University* in the areas of Internet & Social Media Marketing, Global Marketing, and Sustainable Supply Chain Management. Dr. Myhr holds a Ph.D. from the Darden School at the University of Virginia and has also taught at American University and at Tulane University.
Dr. Myhr has received awards by The Hans Werthén Foundation at the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences for his research on partnerships in global supply chains, by Supply Chain Management: an International Journal for the best paper of the year, by the International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management for a top 20 most downloaded paper, by Bloomberg Businessweek for teaching innovation, and in 2011 he was ranked number 6 on a list of the 50 Most Social Media Savvy Professors in America.
Previously, at IFL Executive Education affiliated with the Stockholm School of Economics, Dr. Myhr worked with executive education for large Scandinavian multinationals in Europe, the United States, and China. He also holds an M.S. degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping University in Sweden. Dr. Myhr is an American Marketing Association Doctoral Consortium Fellow and has served as an Executive Director on the Board of the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in Washington DC.
